IIST 2020 Application (From 25th May), Eligibility, Dates – Apply Here

IIST 2020 Application Form will be released through online mode. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) will offer admission in various UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes. It does not conduct any entrance exam to provide admission in any programme. Candidates are provided through JEST, JEE Advanced, GATE and UGC NET scores. Admission will be offered to the qualifying candidates in the field of Space Technology, Space science and Space fields. IIST 2020 UG Application form will be started from 25th May 2020 for UG courses and from second week of April 2020 for PG courses. Candidates must go through IIST 2020 Application form details from the below given section:

• The application form will be available through online mode.
• Candidates can fill their application form for UG courses from 25th May 2020.
• The application form for PG courses will be available from second week of April 2020.
• Candidates must fill all the correct details in the application form.
• After submission of details, candidates will have to upload photograph and signature in the registration form.
• Reserved categories candidates need to upload caste certificate or medical certificate in the application form.
• Candidates have to fill their application form till 12th June 2020 for UG courses and for PG courses application can be submitted till fourth week of April 2020.
• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for further admission procedures.

Application Fee:

• Application fee can be paid through online mode with debit/credit card /net banking/ SBI bank collect.
• The application fee will be non-refundable in nature.

For UG Courses:

IIST 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following IIST 2020 Eligibility criteria before filling the application form:

• Nationality: Indian and NRI both candidates can apply.

For UG Courses:

• Age Limit: General categories candidates should have been born on or after 1^st October 1995. SC/ST/PWD candidates should have been born on or after 1^st October 1990.
• Qualification: Candidates must pass 10+2 class from recognized board.
• Marks: Candidates must secure minimum of 75% aggregate (65% for SC/ST) in their qualifying exam.
• Scorecard: Candidates must have a valid score card of JEE Mains and JEE Advance 2020 exam.

For PG Courses:

• Age Limit: Minimum age limit must be 32 years for General categories candidates. For SC/ST and PWD candidate age relaxation will be provided as per the government of India.
• Qualification: Candidates must pass B.Tech/ B.E. /M.S. /M.Sc. degree from any recognized university.
• Marks: Candidates must secure minimum of 60% aggregate in their qualifying examination.
• Scorecard: Candidates must have a valid score card of UGC NET/GATE/JEST exams.

For Ph.D. Courses:

• Age Limit: Candidates age must be 35 years.
• Qualification: Candidates must have PG degree from any recognized university.

How to Apply for IIST 2020

• Visit the official website (link will be provided above).
• Enter your email or login details.
• Proceed for step 2.
• Fill the details i.e. education details, personal details carefully.
• After submission of details proceed to payment.
• Enter the fee details in the application form.
• You can pay fee through e-Challan and deposit to SBI bank.
• Now you should upload the signature, photograph and other required documents in the application form.
• You should upload the copy of Challan in JPG/PDF format.
• Now click ‘submit’ button.
