CAT 2019 Result has been declared on 4th January 2020. CAT (Common Admission Test) is a national level entrance examination to get admissions in the MBA professional programme and its specializations. It is conducted once in a year. CAT entrance exam is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM), Kozhikode. Many other institutions also consider the CAT score card for providing admission into MBA programmes. CAT Result 2019 – Declared

CAT 2019 Result will be published in the official website of CAT (link will be given above). Candidates can view their results through the online mode only. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance. Names of the selected candidates will be published on the respective IIMS websites.
Candidates are advised to check & downloaded their result carefully. Candidates are also advised to check that information mentioned in the score card is accurate or not. The result does not send to any candidate individually.
CAT Result 2019 Date
The CAT examination has been conducted on 24th November 2019. It was held in two sessions (Forenoon and afternoon). CAT 2019 answer key has been released on 29th November 2019. The result will be declared in the first week of January 2020.
Candidates are instructed to download their results on due date. The final result after making the merit by each IIM will be displayed after one month of the result announcement. The final merit list will be published in each website of IIM.
CAT 2020
CAT is a national level entrance exam organized by IIMS on rotational basis every year. This entrance test is conducted to offer admission into management programmes in various colleges and institutions situated in India. Admission is provided to the qualifying students into MBA programme through CAT scores in various private and government management institutions.
CAT 2019 Score Card
Appeared candidates will view or download their score card through online mode. CAT 2019 score card will be checked by entering the login details such as user Id and password. If candidate forget their password they can recover it by clicking on ‘forget Password’ button.
The selection procedure for the next rounds will be conducted after the few weeks of the declaration of result. The score card will carry the candidate’s personal and qualifying marks details. It will include the marks scored in each section by the candidate.
How to download the Result
Candidates are instructed to follow the steps given below:
- Go to the official website link. (link will be given above)
- Click on the link and you will be redirected to the CAT website for result.
- Now, enter your login details such as your user ID and password.
- Click on ‘login’ button.
- Your result/score card will be appeared on your computer screen.
- Check it carefully and take extra printout of it.
- Keep it safe till the admission procedure.

CAT 2019 Percentile Calculation
CAT result will be declared in the form of percentile. The CAT 2019 Percentile will be calculated on the basis of CAT marking scheme.
The total score is adjusted through a process called “equating”. Then, the score is normalized across different sections. Thereafter the normalized score secured by the candidates will be further converted into percentiles for the purposes of shortlisting.
CAT Admission Procedure
The list of the selected candidates will be displayed on each IIMS website. CAT 2019 Admission Process will be started after the result announcement. Every IIM will send the interview letter to the shortlisted candidates for their campus.
Each IIM has their own eligibility and selection criteria for providing admissions. It will vary IIM to IIM. The next date of selection procedure will be included with the written ability test (WAT), group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI).
The IIMs will also be considered other factors for offering admissions such as past academic performance, CAT 2019 score and above mentioned factors.
