MH CET 2020 Counselling

MH CET 2020 Counselling will be begins from June 2020. It is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for providing admissions in B.Tech, B.Pharm & other courses. It is one of the state level entrance examinations, through which candidates can get admission in Engineering & Technology, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Pharm.D courses. MH CET 2020 Counselling

For providing the admissions a separate merit list will be prepared for various courses. The list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination.

The counselling process will be conducted via online mode. Candidates will be admitted through CAP (Centralized Admission Process).

The counselling process comprises of online registration, options filling, seat allotment, reporting to the allotted centre, etc. The candidates have to visit the regional center allotted to them for document verification.

MH CET 2020 Cut Off will be accessed through online mode. The cut off will be published at the time of centralized allotment process for allotting the seats. The cut off list will be released separately for All India candidates and Maharashtra candidate.

MH CET Counselling Procedure

Candidates have to go through the following procedure during counselling:

Online Registration:

For attending the counselling candidates need to register on the website. Candidates have to enter the login details like application number, MH CET roll number, date of birth, course, etc. Candidates who will qualify the MH CET 2020 exam does not required to pay any counselling fee. Submit all the filled details and register yourself.

Document Verification:

After filling the application form for admission, candidates have to visit any convenient Facilitation Centre in person. Candidates have to bring all the required documents in original along with photocopies. The facilitation centre will confirm the candidate’s application and issue the Receipt cum Acknowledgement of Application Form.

Merit List Display:

After the verification process, the final merit list will be displayed. Merit list will be displayed separately for all the courses. Candidates who will get shortlisted in the merit list can proceed for further counselling process.

Online Option Filling & Confirmation:

Candidates have to fill their options of colleges & courses as per their preference. Students can fill maximum 300 choices. Candidates can fill option form through their login.

Provisional Seat Allotment:

After the process of option filling & confirmation, seats will be allotted to candidates. On the basis of filled choices, merit list & availability of seats in colleges, seat will be allotted to candidates.

Reporting to the Admission Reporting Center (ARC):

After that, candidates have to report to the ARC in schedule time to confirm the allotted seat. If candidates fail to appear at the prescribed schedule their allotment will be rejected and they will not be able to participate in the further counselling round.

Reporting and Confirmation of Admission at Institution:

After completing the all the procedure given above, candidates must report to the institution finally allotted to them to confirm their admission. Candidates have to bring the required documents & fees as notified by the allotted college.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates have to bring the documents given below for the verification at the facilitation centre:

  • Class X mark sheet
  • Class XII or equivalent mark sheet
  • MH CET 2020 admit card
  • MH CET 2020 score card
  • School leaving certificat (if required)
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • Domicile certificate
  • Passport size photographs
