The Cat registration begins from 7th August 2019 & ended on 25th September 2019. The Authority has also provided correction facility for limited time period for two days as from 28th September to 30th September 2019. Candidates were only allowed to edit their signature & photograph only. Total 244, 169 candidates appeared for the examination.

The authority has also provided mock test for candidates on 17thOctober 2019. The admit card for CAT 2019 has been released on 23rdOctober 2019. CAT 2019 examination was concluded as computer based test on 24th November 2019, Sunday for providing admission to MBA/ PGDM course.

The examination was successfully conducted in two slots. This year CAT 2019 exam is conducted in 374 exam centers in 147 cities.

CAT 2019 Exam Analysis by Various Institutions

CAT 2019 Exam Analysis by Bulls Eye– IIM, Kozhikode has conducted CAT 2019 on 24thNovember 2019 in two slots. The examination in the country saw a participation of almost 2 lakh candidates this year. According to Bulls Eye analysis, they determined overall & sectional difficulty level of the exam.

Analysis for Slot 1:

In the terms of pattern, structure & difficulty level, the exam was similar to the previous year examination. Unlike common terms, the CAT examiner seemed to focus on candidate’s aptitude rather than testing ability of student to handle a disruptive pattern,

CAT Exam Analysis by TIME: Here we presents the complete CAT 2019 analysis by TIME prepared only by experts. In both the slots, candidates found VARC section time consuming. Candidates found the passages part quite lengthy. The analysis by TIME will help students in getting an overview regarding the cut-off. The cut-off will be also released by various institutes accepting CAT scores.

TIME has released the CAT 2019 Slot 1 analysis by considering various parameters. The pattern for VARC section was with the expected lines. It was same as the previous year in year 2018. The DILR section was lower in difficulty level. It was not as challenging as it was in the last three years. The QA section was also not as difficult as it was in year CAT 2018.

As per SLOT 2, The VARC section was more difficult as compared to CAT 2018. Though, the DL & LR section was bit easier compared to year 2018. The QA section was also too easier comparatively. The QA section contains questions from all expected topics as Arithmetic, Geometry, Menstruation, and much more. Though as per TIME institute, QA part was also easier compared to the year 2018.

CAT Analysis by IMS Learning: According to IMS learning, Verbal part was difficult as compared to last year while DL & LR as well as QA was easier compared to the previous one. The first slot was almost similar to the previous year 2018 in terms of difficulty. There was no surprise or different questions seen in any slots in CAT 2019.
