JEST 2020 Exam Dates have been released with the release of notification on 18th October 2019. The exam will be held on 16th February 2020. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is authorized as a National Eligibility Test (NET) by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB). JEST 2020 Exam Schedule
Candidates those wishing to apply in JEST 2020 will be able to fill their application form online. The filling and submission of JEST 2020 application form will be started from 11th November 2019. The last date to fill and submit the online application form will be till 14th December 2019.
JEST 2020 Admit card can be downloaded through online mode from the website. Admit cards will be released in the third week of January 2020. The written exam of the JEST will be conducted through offline mode on 16th February 2020.

JEST 2020 Application Form

- Upload your scanned passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Application fee will be paid through online mode using debit card, credit card or net banking. Application fee for JEST 2020 will be Rs. 400 for general category (Rs. 200 for SC/ ST/Female category candidates). ST/SC Females are exempted to pay the fee.
JEST 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for examination must go through the complete JEST 2020 eligibility criteria:
- For Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science at IMSc: Candidates must have completed M.Sc. /M. E. / M.Tech in Mathematics and Physics.
- For Ph. D Physics: Candidates must pass M.Sc. degree in physics from any recognized university/ institute.
- For Integrated Ph.D. in Computational Biology at IIMCs: Candidates must have passed MCA/ M. Tech/ M.E. / M.Sc. in Science or in any discipline with good Mathematics skill and good knowledge in Biological subjects
