TS LAWCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria will be prescribed by the official before filling the application form. TS LAWCET 2020 is a state level entrance examination of 3 years and 5 years LLB Law courses. It is run and managed by the Osmania University, Hyderabad on the behalf of TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education). This is organized to fill the law UG seats in government and private law colleges and universities in Telangana state. TS LAWCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
TS LAWCET 2020 will be conducted for 2 different courses; one is of 3 year LLB course and other is 5 year Integrated law course. eligibility criteria is quite different for both courses. Apart from all these there are some common eligibility criteria. Let’s discuss below for the entire eligibility criteria:
Nationality/Residence:
- The candidate must be the citizen of India national and also a residence of Telangana state.
- The residential status will be account as per the state government norms.
- The candidate must satisfy the local/non-local status.
Age Criteria:
- As per the Honorable Supreme Court directions, there is no age limit for LLB (3 year and 5 year) courses.

Qualification Criteria:
For LLB 3 Years Course:
Qualifying Examination: The candidates must be passed a three year graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.
Appearing Status: Candidates appearing the last year of their UG degree can also apply. Appearing candidates must have to clear their final year of UG course in year 2020.
Minimum Marks Required: The candidates belonging to general and OBC categories must have minimum 45% aggregate marks in their UG programmes.
The candidates belonging to reserved categories must have minimum 40% aggregate marks in their UG programmes.
If student fails to score 45% in graduation then he/she is required to pass any additional graduation or post graduation with 45% marks.
For LLB 5 Years Course:
Qualifying Examination: The candidates must be passed the Intermediate exam or any other examination equivalent to intermediate from the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education or any other recognized Board of India.
Appearing Status: Candidates appearing the last year of their +2 examination can also apply. Appearing candidates must have to clear their final year Intermediate in year 2020.
Minimum Marks Required: The candidates belonging to general and OBC categories must have minimum 45% aggregate marks in their intermediate.
The candidates belonging to reserved categories must have minimum 40% aggregate marks in their UG programmes.
