Here we are providing some important instructions for KVPY 2019 application form:

• KVPY registration can be done only through online mode.
• It has been started from 8th July 2019 and will be continued till 20th August 2019.
• KVPY application form has been divided into three steps, i.e. registration, filling details and fee payment.
• No correction or modification will be allowed in the submitted application form.
• Upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
• SC, ST and PwD candidates will have to upload their respective documents in the PDF format.
• The photograph size should be less than 500KB and signature size must be less than 200KB.
• There will be no need to send the printed application to the institution.

Application Fee:

• The application is Rs. 1000/- for general and OBC and Rs. 500/- for ST, SC and PwD candidates.
• Candidates will pay the application fee via net banking, credit card and ATM-debit card.
• Fee payment will also be done through e-challan.

KVPY 2020 

KVPY entrance exam will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. KVPY is a national level entrance test organized for the selection of the eligible candidates on the basis of Aptitude Test & Interview organized by IISc. Through this entrance exam, candidates are provided scholarships up to Pre-Ph.D. level for their selection. Eligible candidates awarded with the scholarships will be able to pursue their career in the Research Science.

KVPY Eligibility Criteria

Students must check their eligibility criteria before filling the KVPY application form 2019:

• Only Indian Nationals candidates will be eligible to apply.
• For SA stream, students appearing in the 11^th standard with science subjects and must have secured 75% marks (65% for SC, ST & PwD) in mathematics and science subject in 10^th
• For SX stream, candidates enrolled in 12^th or equivalent exam with science stream and should have obtained 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWD) marks in science subjects (10^th class).
• For SB stream, candidates pursuing in the first year of UG courses in science field and secured at least 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD) in the 12th.

How to Apply for KVPY

Here we are providing the step by step procedure for KVPY registration 2019:

• Visit the official website link. (link is given above)
• Click on the link “Registration and Application”.
• Fill all the registration details and click on the “Submit” button.
• You will receive the user ID and password on the registered email ID or mobile number.
• Enter your login details and click on “Login” button.
• Fill other details like basic, qualifying exam, exam centre, etc.
• Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature and category/medical certificate (if applicable).
• Now, click on the “Continue to Payment” option.
• Pay the application fee through online or offline mode.
• The application form will be submitted for scrutiny.
• Check the application status after two days of application submission.
• Once the application will get approved, take printout of it for further use.
