The provisional results of the examination has been declared one week after the successful completion of the examination. The candidates are able to check their result through online mode.
The NTA does not issue the mark sheet for qualified or not qualified candidates. Candidates must take printout of UGC NET 2018 result for further use.
UGC NET 2018 Result Date
The NTA has declared the UGC NET result 2018 through the online mode. The examination has been conducted from 9th to 23rd December 2018.
The result has been announced on 5th January 2019. Candidates can check their results by entering their roll number, application number and date of birth on the website login page.
Candidates can access it from the online mode. No candidates are informed individually about the releasing of their result. The marks of all the candidates is uploaded on the website after declaration of result.
How to Check UGC NET Result 2018

- A new result page will be opened on the screen.
- Enter your roll number, application number and date of birth and click on the submit button.
- Your result will appear in the pdf format.
- Download it and take a printout of the result for further process.
UGC NET Answer Key 2018
After the successful completion of UGC NET examination, the exam conducting authority has release the answer key for all papers. UGC NET answer key has been published on 29th December 2018.
Candidates is made available with the facility to challenge the OMR Sheet/answer key. For challenging each question, candidates have to pay the Rs. 1000/-. If the challenge is accepted by the authority, the fee will be refunded.

UGC NET Merit List 2018
A separate category-wise and subject-wise merit list is prepared for the candidates those obtained the qualifying percentile of marks. Top 15% candidates from the merit list is declared NET qualified for eligibility of Assistant professor only.
Among NET qualified candidates a separate merit list is carried out for the award of JRF. The qualifying marks criteria are set by the NTA/UGC will be final.
