Presidency University Admission 2019 Notification has been released. The application form will be started from 12th February 2019 for PUBDET & 19th February 2019 for PUMDET. Check exam dates below.

Presidency University Application Form 2019
Here candidates can get the details to fill the application form.
- The application form filling process can be done through online mode only.
- The application form will be available from the 12th February 2019 for PUBDET and 19th February 2019 for PUMDET.
- In the application form candidates have to fill the candidate’s name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID.
- Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature as per the instructions mentioned in the information bulletin.
- Once the application form is submitted, candidate cannot change/modify the filled-in details.
- Keep the printout of the application form till admission process.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 500/- for both the entrance exam. The examination fee has to be submitted through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card. No other mode will be available to submit the fee.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the eligibility criteria given below to get admission in the university through written entrance exam.
- Nationality: Applying candidate should be a citizen of India.
- Age Limit: No maximum and minimum age limit to apply.
- Qualifying Exam for PUBDET: Candidates should passed 12 (not before 2018) or appeared in 2019 exam conducted by the CHSE, West Bengal, or any equivalent board.
- Qualifying Exam for PUMDET: The candidate must pass (not before 2018) or appeared in B.A. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hons) examination in 2019 from any recognized university.
Presidency University Admission Procedure 2019
The admission in Presidency University will be offered on the basis of entrance exam only. Candidates must have appeared in the entrance exam for the seat allotment.
The admission procedure will take place in these steps i.e., filling of application form, appearing in entrance test, participating in the counselling and appear for PI.
On the basis of candidate’s marks in the entrance exam, the candidates will be selected for the admission rounds. The university will prepare the merit list for selecting the candidates for the counselling.
PU Entrance Exams 2019
PUBDET is conducted for admission in various UG courses and PUMDET for various PG courses. Candidates have to qualify these two examinations for admission.
Through PUMDET candidates can get admission in two years M.A./M.Sc. courses and through PUBDET in B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.). The admissions are offered in Presidency University in OPEN quota (Non-PU quota) seats.
The exam will be conducted through offline mode. As per the schedule candidates can download their admit card on 4th June 2019 for PUBDET and 6th June 2019 for PUMDET. The exam will be conducted on 15th & 16th June 2019 for PUBDET and 15th June 2019 for PUMDET.
Presidency University Result/Merit 2019
After the entrance test, the result will be declared on 16th July 2019 for PUBDET and 19th July 2019 for PUMDET. The university will release the result in the form of rank card. Candidates can check their rank and the total marks obtained in the rank card.
The rank card will be made available only in the wbjeeb portal. Candidates can check their result by entering their user Id and password.
On the basis of declared result, the university will prepare the merit list separately for UG and PG courses. In the merit list, candidates will be shortlisted for the admission.
Presidency University Counselling 2019
The counselling will be started after the declaration of result in the month of July 2019. The complete counselling schedule will be notified by the university on their respective website.
Candidates those will be eligible for the counselling have to verify their documents at the counselling center within given time period. The candidates have to appear physically on the day of counselling.
A separate notification will be published by the university of containing the details of counselling/seat allotment/provisional admission.
After the document process, the seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates as per their rank in the merit list. Candidates have to download the seat allotment letter and report for the final admission procedure.
Presidency University Admission 2019
After completion of the counselling, the university will conduct the personal interview for the candidates those are selected for admission. It is necessary to appear in Personal Interview and clear it for final admission.
After seat allocation, candidates have to submit the academic fee to confirm their seat. Candidates have to submit the admission form to the university after the telephonic interview. Admission will be closed in the month of September 2019.
