  7. Ministry of Human Resources Development is now renamed as the Ministry of education as the National Education policy has been approved by the HRD minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal and Information and Broadcasting minister, Prakash Javadekar in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday 29 July.

Aiming to bring major changes at every stage of Education, this new Education policy has been approved. This policy will come in action as soon as possible. This education policy will replace the old policy which was made in 1986. Under this policy, a load of education for 3 to 18 year age group students has been reduced.

The Indian Space Research Organization Cheif K Kasturirangan submitted the policy draft last year and now that policy has been approved by the education m ministry (former HRD ministry) on the basis of 2 lakhs review on this. This most awaited education policy was part of BJP’s manifesto in general election 2014.

COLLEGE DROPOUTS CAN REJOIN THEIR COURSES WITHOUT RE-ADMISSION
As centre announced on Wednesday, If a student left its study in a second or third year then he/she can rejoin the course without getting a fresh admission in that particular course. Now the government will follow a credit bank system and fix the gap for students.

Especially for school students over sixth class, the government will provide them with training to improve scientific knowledge and develop the skills of their interests.
