SAAT 2019SAAT 2019 Application Form has been released. SAAT 2019 (Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University Admission Test) is university level online entrance examination. It offers admission in UG & PG programmes. For the admission in medical & dental programmes, the NEET score card will be considered. For B.Tech programmes admission will be offered through SAAT and JEE Main scores. SAAT Exam Date 2019

The SAAT 2019 exam dates are given below. Candidates can follow the schedule to apply in SAAT UG & PG courses.

Opening of online application form 3rd week of December 2018
Last date of submission of application form 2nd week of April 2019
Availability of admit card 3rd week of April 2019
Exam date 4th week of April 2019
Declaration of result 1st week of May 2019
Commencement of counselling 2nd week of May 2019

SAAT Application Form 2019

Candidates must read the guidelines given below to apply for the application.

  • SAAT application form 2019 can be filled and submitted through online mode.
  • The application form filling process will be started from the third week of December 2018.
  • The last date provided by the university to fill the application form will be the second week of April 2019.
  • For applying more than one course, candidates have to fill the separate application form.
  • Candidates are also required to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature along with providing other details.

Note: There is no application fee/examination fee to appear in SAAT 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

Here candidates can check the eligibility criteria to apply for B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA course.

For B.Tech:

  • Qualifying Exam: Must pass/appearing the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Subjects: Physics and Mathematics (compulsory subjects) along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Biotechnology/Biology/Informatics/ Statistics/Technical Vocational Subject or any other subject.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates have to obtain at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST/OBC category) in the qualifying exam.

For M.Tech:

  • Qualifying Exam: Pass/appearing in B.Tech/B.E./AMIE/MCA/M.Sc or equivalent in the respective discipline.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should have 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
  • GATE Score: GATE qualified candidates are exempted from the SAAT entrance test.

For MBA/MHM/MHA:

  • Qualifying Exam: The applying candidate should passed/appearing bachelor’s degree from a recognized university/institution.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates should have 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

SAAT Exam Pattern 2019

Check the SAAT exam pattern 2019 below:

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode (CBT).
  • Type of Questions: Multiple choice type questions will be asked in the exam.
  • Medium of Exam: The exam will be asked in English language.
  • Duration of Exam: 2 hours will be provided for the whole exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

SAAT Syllabus

The syllabus for SAAT 2019 entrance exam will be separately provided by the University for each Course. The syllabus will be different for each UG & PG courses. For UG courses candidates can study their 11th and 12th class syllabus as per the stream in 12th class. For PG course, the syllabus will be released by the university on their website.

Preparation Tips

  • Prepare as per the official syllabus. Do not study out of syllabus topics.
  • Make a proper study schedule and follow it on a daily basis.
  • Must solve the previous year questions papers.
  • Make short notes for the revision.
  • Practice more questions from different books.
  • Always be healthy.

FAQ’s (Most Asked Questions)

Answer: No. There is no need to send the hard copy of printed application form.
Answer: Candidates can only change the applied course code and centre choice.
Answer: The acknowledgement for the receipt of the application form will be intimated to the candidate’s registered email-Id and mobile number through SMS.
Answer: It will be valid only for the academic year.
Answer: Yes, the university will release the separate merit list for reserve categories.
Answer: You have to bring the ID as mentioned in the online application form and admit card.
Answer: Yes, the authority will return your original documents after verification procedure.

SAAT Admit Card 2019

SAAT hall ticket can be downloaded from the candidate’s login/dashboard on the university website. The downloading of admit card will be started from the third week of April 2019. It will be issued through online mode only.

If candidate will find any discrepancy in the downloaded SAAT admit card, it should immediately be brought to the notice of the Director, Admissions. The candidates have to produce a valid identity proof along with printed admit card to enter in the exam hall.

SAAT Result 2019

SAAT result will be published in the first week of May 2019. Candidates can view their results through online mode. On the basis of SAAT result 2019, a separate merit list will be prepared by the university for each course.

The merit list will be used to shortlist the candidates for the counseling rounds. An admission letter will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address about their selection for counselling.

SAAT Counselling 2019

The shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling after the declaration of result. The university will conduct the open counselling for admission in UG and PG courses. The SAAT counselling 2019 will be started from the second week of May 2019.

Admission to medical and dental courses will be offered through NEET score and in B.Tech courses through JEE Main score and SAAT 2019.

Candidates having diploma in engineering/technology/ pharmacy and hotel management are eligible for admission into regular courses under lateral entry scheme through SAAT 2019.
