NEET 2019 Application Form Correction – Check Dates & Procedure

NTA 2019NEET 2019 Correction facility in some particulars will be provided via online mode. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is popularly known as NEET. It is a national level examination. This exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. Through NEET exam, candidates can get admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered by various government and non-government medical and dental colleges in India. NEET 2019 Application Form Correction

Candidates can fill the NEET Application Form from 1st November 2018. Last date to fill the application is 7th December 2018.

NTA will give correction facility in some particulars & uploading images. The board will offer correction facility to the candidates.

NEET Application Correction facility will be provided to the candidates from 14th-31st January 2019. No correction will be allowed after this date.

The Board will provide ONE TIME CORRECTION OPPORTUNITY to the candidates only in the data which may affect the merit.

NEET Correction 2019 Details

Candidates can make the correction in the given particulars & scanned images. NEET 2019 correction facility will be allowed only one time to the candidates. So, candidates fill the application form carefully.

Correction In Particulars:

Candidates will be permitted to make the correction in their data submitted in NEET application form. NEET application form correction will be allowed in the following data only:

Identification Identity:

  • Candidates, those fill up the application with IDs other than Aadhaar Card, i.e. Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number & Aadhaar Enrollment Number will be able to add their Aadhaar Number or the Aadhaar Enrollment Number.
  • Candidates who already fill the application with Aadhaar Card & candidates with nationality as OCIs, PCIs, NRIs & foreigner are not eligible to make the correction.

Date of Birth:

  • Candidates, those fill the application form with IDs other than Aadhaar Card, i.e. Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number & Aadhaar Enrollment Number will be able to make the correction in their Date of Birth.
  • Candidates who already fill the application with Aadhaar Card. They are not eligible to make the correction in DOB as their details in Aadhaar Card.

Gender:

  • Candidates, those fill the form with other IDs than Aadhaar Card, i.e. Passport Number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number & Aadhaar Enrollment Number will be able to make the correction in their Gender.
  • Candidates who already fill the application with Aadhaar Card. They cannot make the correction in Gender as their details in Aadhaar Card.

State Codes of Eligibility:

  • All Candidates can make the correction in State Codes of Eligibility.
    • Candidates, those belong to J & K state can make changes in the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.
    • Candidates who belong to Assam, Meghalaya & Jammu and Kashmir will be able to make changes in their state code of eligibility (other than these 3 states). They can make changes only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar enrollment number.

Note: Candidates may note that the rules which are state specific such as permissible identity type, self-declaration, question paper medium, & choices of centers, etc will be applicable by changing the state of eligibility. Candidates will have to fill up information in the effected field afresh very carefully.

Category:

  • All candidates can make changes in the category. (Candidates should fill category only as per the central list of category)

Note: However, wherever change in category involves the higher fee, candidates will have to pay the difference in the fee also.

Disability Status:

  • All candidates can make the correction.

Note: However, wherever change in disability status involves the higher fee, candidates will have to pay the difference in the fee also.

Medium of Question Paper:

  • All candidates can make changes in the medium of question paper.

Note: However, if the medium is changed into regional languages, candidates will also change in the center city also.

Examination Center:

  • All candidates can make the correction.

Qualifying Examination Code & Percentage (%) of Marks Obtained in Class 12th:

  • All candidates can make the correction.

Parents Name (Father’s & Mother’s):

  • All candidates can make the correction & interchange the name.

How to Make Correction in NEET 2019 Application Form

Corrections in the filled-in application form of NEET 2018 will be done by following these simple steps:

  • Visit the Official Site of NEET. (Link will be given above).
  • Visit “Candidates Login” link.
  • Enter your registration number and password.
  • Click on the link for correction.
  • Now, correct your filled details in the application form.
  • Candidates are advised to correct the mistakes carefully as no second-time correction opportunity will be provided further.

NEET 2018 Correction Process

For availing the correction facility, candidates will visit the official website during the schedule fixed for the correction facility.

Correction in any other data is not allowed as this will not affect the candidature and the merit. Further, candidates are requested to be very careful while making corrections as no second opportunity will be made available for corrections.

After correction, candidates will print correction slip and retained the same for their reference and record. No correspondence thereafter will be entertained by the Board in this regard.

Due to correction in Category, if the additional fee will be payable, the same will be remitted through Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking during the given period only. Parents are expected to read & understand the above information and help their ward in doing the needful correctly.

Correction In Scanned Images:

Candidates those have uploaded wrong Photograph, Signature & will be intimated by CBSE through an e-mail & SMS. Candidates will re-upload these documents by log into the application portal in given time frame.

Candidates who will receive the SMS and email from CBSE regarding application form correction should re-upload the scanned documents within 3 days.

All the aspirants are advised to fill the application form carefully if by mistake some entries are entered wrongly, then students have a chance to rectify them within correction period.

The board has been provided the one-time correction opportunity in the field of Date of Birth, State Code of Eligibility, Gender, Category, and Disability Status.

NEET Application Form 2019

Candidates will get the application form through online mode from the website. NEET 2019 Application Form has been started from 1st November 2018. Candidates will be able to fill the application till 7th December 2018.

There will be no offline mode to fill the application. Before application form submission, candidates should check all the details filled in the application carefully.

In case of mistake, no changes will be allowed after the form submission. CBSE will provide one-time correction facility only in some particulars.
