The details regarding the application form of SRM University is discussed below:
- The candidates can fill the application form of SRM University 2019 through online as well as offline mode.
- The application form for the entrance exam and direct admission will be made available through university website.
- The application form for various courses will be started from the first week of November 2018 for b.tech it has been started from 27th October 2018.
- The last date to submit the application form will be the first week of March 2019.
- To apply for the application form, candidates are required to get registered on the official website.
- Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature in the prescribed specifications mentioned by the authority.
- Offline application form will be made available to the candidates those situated in the remote states.
- The application form for all the SRM campuses will be same.
- Keep the printout of the filled application form till the admission process gets over.
Application Fee:
The application fee will be Rs.1100/- for all candidates. The payment can be done through online mode by using debit/credit card or net banking facility.
Candidates can also make payment by offline mode by drawing DD in favour of ‘SRMIST’ payable at Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for the admission process in SRM University, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria given below:
For B.Tech
- Candidate must have completed their 10+2 level exam from a recognized board or university.
- Candidate must have passed their qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics/Biotechnology and Chemistry subjects.
- The date of birth of the candidate must fall between 1 July, 1998 and 1 July, 2003.
- Candidate must be qualified with atleast 60% in each subject.
- Appearing candidates can also apply.
For BBA
- Candidate must have completed his 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.
- Candidate must have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% for Kattankulathur and other campuses.
For MBA
- Candidate must have completed his/her bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
- Applying candidate must have qualified the bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate of 60% marks.

How to Apply

Registration:
- Visit the official website of SRM University.
- Go to the registration link.
- Enter all the required registration details like name, Email-id, mobile number etc.
- After the successful registration, a confirmation mail will be send to the candidate’s email id.
- Click on the mail and confirm the registration.
Fill the Application Form:
- Now log in to the website using the provided registered id and password.
- Fill up the application form by entering the personal details, program selected, exam city, campus, address, educational qualification etc.
- Now, submit the filled details after cross-checking it.
Upload Photo, Signature and other Documents:
- After filling all the details in the form, candidates are required next to upload their scanned images.
- Candidates have to upload the photograph, signature and other documents according to the prescribed format and size.
Make Application Fee Payment:
- After the uploading process, candidates have to pay the application fee.
- Candidates can submit their application fee through online or offline mode.
- For online mode, candidates can pay it by e-payment mode.
- For offline mode, candidates can pay by DD drawn in favour of ‘SRMIST’ payable at Chennai.
