JEECE 2018 second round counselling notice has been released on 17th July 2018. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board is the responsible exam conducting authority of JEECE. Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE 2018) is conducted for admission to BE/B.Tech degree course in the state colleges of Jharkhand. JEECE is started as the separate exam for engineering from the year 2017. In this article, we are providing details of JEECE 2018 exam dates, answer key, result, counselling, etc.

JCECE Board conducts a separate exam named JCECE 2018 entrance exam for admission in other courses like agriculture, forestry, science, etc. apart from BE & B.Tech courses.

JEECE Answer Key
The board has publish the answer key after one or two days of the written examination. It can be accessed through online mode only. JEECE answer key 2018 has been released set-wise for all sets of the exam. Candidates can view their answer key according to their set. The board also provide the master question paper along with the correct answers.
JEECE Result
JEECE 2018 Result has been declared on 19th June 2018. The result can be checked from the official website of JCECEB or from this page. On the basis of rank secured in JEECE 2018, students are called for counselling.

JEECE 2019 examination will be conducted to provide admission in engineering courses offered in various specializations. It is a state level entrance test conducted by the JCECE board. It is a yearly examination will be organized in the month of May 2019.
JEECE 2018 Counselling
The counselling second counselling is starting from 21st July 2018. The candidates are called for the counselling round on the basis of rank secured by them in entrance exam. The counselling is conducted in two rounds via offline mode. Candidates also have to pay the counselling fee to take part in counselling. At the time of document verification, candidates have to produce their original certificates. If any candidate fails to produce the original documents, then his/her admission will be cancelled.
JEECE Application Form 2018
- Candidates can fill the JEECE 2018 application form through online mode.
- Application form filling process has been started from 16th April and will continue till 10th May 2018.
- Once the application form is submitted, no changes will be allowed further.
- Keep a printcopy of the application form for future use.
Application Fee:
- The payment of application fee can be done through internet banking/ debit card/ credit card.
- The application fee for SC/ST/female of all categories is Rs. 450/- and for General/OBC, the fee is Rs. 900/-.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check JEECE 2018 eligibility criteria for appearing the exam:
- Nationality: A candidate must be the citizen of India.
- Domicile: A candidate should have the local or permanent residential certificate of the Jharkhand State.
- Age Criteria: There is no age limit for the B.Tech courses.
- Qualifying Exam: The prescribed qualification is 10+2 from a recognized board.
- Subjects: Candidate must qualify the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
- Minimum Marks: In order to apply, candidates must have secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in the PCM group.
JEECE Admit Card
The candidates are able to download JEECE 2018 Admit card admit card before one or two weeks of the entrance exam. The admit card has been issued in online mode. Candidates have to bring the admit card along with one photo ID proof to the examination hall.
JEECE Exam Pattern 2018
The exam pattern details are given below:
- Type of Questions: The question paper will be based on Multiple Choice Type questions.
- Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted through online (CBT) mode.
- Duration: The exam duration will be total 3 hours (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
- Medium of Exam: The questions paper will be published in English and Hindi languages.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each right answer.
- Negative Marking: Negative marking will be considered in case of multiple and wrong answers. ¼ marks will be deducted from total score.
- Subjects: The examination will include subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each subject carries 50 MCQ questions.
- Exam Centres: The examination will be conducted on Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Dhanbad.
