NID 2020 Exam Schedule has been released. The National Institute of Design (NID) has released NID 2020 Exam Dates through online mode. NID entrance exam is a national level exam. It is organized for admission to the B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programs at NID campuses across India. NID exam will be conducted in two stages, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. After completion of both the exam, the authority will prepare final merit list. Candidates whose name will be in the merit list eligible for admission in NID campuses. Pre-Examination Schedule:
The NID 2020 Application Form is available from the 1st October 2019. Last date to fill the application form was till 21st November 2019. The application form is available through online mode.
The conducting authority provides facility to review and edit the application form from 21st November 2019.
The exam conducting authority r the NID admit card 2020 for both prelim and mains exam. Admit card has been made available on 20th December 2019 (DAT prelim).
NID 2020 Exam is conducted in two stages preliminary and mains. The DAT 2020 prelim exam has been conducted on 29th December 2019. DAT 2020 main exam will be conducted on 29th April to 3rd May 2020.
The university will also release the cut off marks for providing admission in the respective course.
Post-Examination Schedule:
The authority will release the provisional answer key of NID prelim exam for all the set of the question papers. Candidates also have an option to challenge the answer key through online mode.
The final NID answer key for DAT prelim will be released in last week of January 2020.
The NID 2020 Result for prelim exam has been declared on 4th May 2020 (B.Des & GDPD) and has been declared on 21st February 2020 for M.Des. The result has been made available in online mode. Based on score obtained in NID prelim separate merit list will be prepared for each category.
Based on the merit list of prelim exam eligible candidates are called for NID DAT 2020 Mains. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on sum total of weightage score scored by candidate in prelim and mains exam.
The NID 2020 Counselling is expected to be organised in July 2020. Candidates with their name in the merit list will be called for counseling as per their rank.
The counseling procedure will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to present all specified documents in original and copy for document verification.
