Punjab JET 2020 Admission form will be released by the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training (PSBTE & IT), Chandigarh. Admission will be based on marks secured by the candidates in matriculation. It is a state level admission procedure organized to register the candidates for various diploma courses offered by various institutions in Punjab state. There will be no entrance exam organized for providing admission in diploma courses. Admissions will be offered in various regular & part time diploma courses in the engineering & non-engineering field. Punjab JET 2020 Application Form

Candidates can fill their application form with the help of instruction given below:

• Punjab JET 2020 Application Form will be released in the second week of May 2020.
• Candidates need to register online on the website. Click on new registration and fill all the required details.
• No offline mode will be entertained to fill the application form.
• After filling the details candidates will click on submit button and get application number which will be used further.

Punjab JET 2020 Merit List

Punjab JET 2020 Merit List will be published on the website. Candidate can see their rank in the merit list and can also view by login on the portal. The merit list will be prepared as per the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying exam.

Candidates are advised to take print out of their rank card for the upcoming admission process. The merit list will be released in the month of June 2020.

Seat Reservation

Seat Reservation criteria for various categories are listed below:

For admission, one third of the total seat of un-aided institutions will come under Management Quota. The admission for these seats will be provided at the level of institution.

Punjab JET 2020 Counselling

Punjab JET 2020 Counselling will be web-based online off-campus counselling which will start from second week of May 2020. The counseling procedure will comprises of various steps which are mentioned below:

• Registration: To participate in the counselling procedure, Candidates need to register themselves as per schedule of the counseling. Candidates will be required to submit their registration details on the website.
• Selection of Counselling Centre (Counselling First Round): Candidates can choose their own choice branch and institutes on the website as per their convenience. It will be very simple procedure and candidates will be guided by the short messages on the computer screen.
• Seat Allotment Result: Candidates who freeze their seat online can view result after some days. After the declaration of result candidates can check their result by candidate login and can print it for further process.
• Admission Confirmation: Admission of the candidate can be confirmed by paying the admission fee and candidates also needed to update their status whether they are joining or not in the institution.
• Counselling Second Round: If candidates want to update their information, they can participate in the second round of counselling and can change their choice which will be marked as their final choice. Seat allotment will be done as per the final preferences filled by the candidates.

Punjab JET 2020 Admission Procedure

Punjab JET 2020 admission procedure will be organized in the month of June 2020. After the seat allotment, candidates will have to report to the allotted college to confirm their admission.

For the confirmation of admission, candidates needed to show their original documents and proof of fee deposited at the time of counselling. Candidates have to report to the allotted institution as per the prescribed schedule.

Document Required for Admission:

Candidates must carry one set of all certificate self-attested copies and stamp size photograph. Candidates who fails to produce the relevant documents, will not be admitted. Candidates need to bring the following documents at the time of admission:
