LPU NEST 2019 is a university level entrance exam to get admission in the Engineering, Management, Law, Design, Agriculture, Hotel Management & many other courses of the university. Lovely Professional University is conducting the National Entrance and Scholarship Test (NEST) from the year 2009. A large number of candidates appeared every year in this examination. The university also provides the scholarship on the basis of their rules and regulations. LPU NEST Important Dates 2019

Here, we have given the exam dates for Engineering, Law and MBA courses. The candidates can check the individual schedule for all three courses.

LPU NEST Application Form 2019

The candidates can get the LPU NEST 2019 information brochure from the university website or can also be purchased from the admission office at the university campus.

  • The candidates those wish to apply in LPU NEST 2019 entrance exam can apply as per the schedule given above.
  • The candidates can register themselves on the website through online mode only.
  • Candidates can also avail the offline LPU NEST application form (OMR) by purchasing MBA/B.Tech Kit (application form).
  • Candidates have to fill the basic details to generate the application number and password for subsequent logins.
  • The application process can be done on different dates for all offered courses. Candidates can apply as per the course for which they are seeking admission.
  • For B.Tech and MBA, application form has been released on 9th October 2018.
  • At the time of filling application form, candidates need to fill the exam center preference and book the slot for the online exam.
  • The application form will be considered as completed only after the payment of application fee.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee can be paid through online mode (Debit/credit card, net banking or through demand draft).
  • The application fee is Rs. 500/- for boys and Rs. 250 for girls (for online).
  • For offline, the fee is Rs. 500/- for both boys and girls.

Eligibility Criteria

Here, candidates can check the complete eligibility criteria to apply in law, engineering and management courses.

Nationality: Only Indian National candidates are eligible to apply.

Qualification Criteria

For MBA

  • Qualifying Exam: The applying candidate must be graduated or appearing in graduation from UGC recognized university, institution, college, etc.
  • Qualifying Marks: The candidate should pass with 50% aggregate marks in Graduation or equivalent subject.
  • Score Card: LPUNEST or CAT/ XAT (upto 80 percentile) or MAT/ CMAT (upto 85 percentile) or GMAT and Interview.

For B.Tech

  • Qualifying Examination: The candidates must passed or studying in 2019, in final examination of 10+2 from CBSE, ICSE or State Board or any other Council, Instituion, college, etc.
  • Qualifying Marks: The candidates must obtained 60% marks in aggregate in 12th standard.
  • Subjects: The qualifying examination should be passed with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.

LPU NEST Exam Pattern

For MBA:

  • Mode of Exam: The examination will be conducted through online mode only.
  • Duration of Exam: The total time provided for the exam will be 150 minutes.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Type questions will be asked in the examination.
  • Number of Questions: Total of 100 questions will be asked.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

  • Number of Questions: Total of 110 questions will be asked.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Note: Candidates can opt either PCME subject combination or PCBE subject combination.

LPU NEST Syllabus

The question for MBA exam will be asked from English, General Awareness and General Aptitude.

For B.Tech, the syllabus will be prepared from the 12th class syllabus which will contain the subjects like physics, chemistry, english, mathematics/biology.

In Law exam, the topics will be picked from the Quantitative and Logical Aptitude, Legal Reasoning, Legal Reasoning and English.

Answer: The university offered various UG, PG, Diploma courses in the field of B.Tech, MBA, Law, Design, Hotel Management, Agriculture, etc.
Answer: Yes, it is same for every candidate but, different for different courses.
Answer: In case you forget your login password, you can click on forgot password tab and get your password. An email with complete login details will be sent to your registered email Id.

Answer: Yes. If you are already studying in any of the Government recognized university then you can apply for the transfer/migration.

LPU NEST Admit Card 2019

  • The candidates can get their admit card after booking their slot for the exam.
  • Just after the booking slot, candidates can download the LPU NEST admit card 2019.
  • The slot booking for B.Tech courses is starting from 1st week of December 2018.
  • Candidates those exam slot will be booked by the university, can download the admit card after 48 hours from the slot booking through the official website of the university.
  • The admit cards will not be send to any candidate individually.

LPU NEST Result 2019

  • After the successful completion of the exam, the NEST result will be declared for various courses.
  • The candidates will able to check their results through online mode in the university website.
  • To check the result, candidates will be needed their login credentials. So, keep the application number and password secure.
  • The result for B.Tech/MBA courses will be announced on 10th February 2019.
  • The university will release the cut off marks for various courses. It can be different for all courses.
  • The result will also be sent on the candidate’s registered email Id.

LPU NEST Counselling 2019

  • After publication of the result, the university will start the counselling or admission procedure.
  • The counselling will be conducted through online mode in which seats will be allocated to the candidates.
  • The candidates can participate in the admission procedure on the basis of marks obtained in the LPU NEST entrance exam and Interview.
  • Counselling (B.Tech) will be started from 4th May 2019.
  • The candidates need to submit the counselling fee through online mode or by visiting the university campus or camp office.
  • Candidates have to select the courses of their choices in the admission form, and upload the required documents.
  • After verification of the documents, the candidates will be allotted the seat. Candidates can get admission within the prescribed time limits.
